St. Jude School offers several scholarship opportunities that may be available to help offset the cost of educating your child.
We use the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Program to assist us in the determination of need and assistance given. If your family is experiencing financial difficulties and is in need of financial assistance, please complete an online application at the FACTS website. The deadline for round 1 aid is March 15th and the round 2 deadline is May 15th.

The EdChoice Scholarship is available for all students in grades K through 8. There are two types of EdChoice Scholarships:
Traditional EdChoice: This scholarship is available to students who reside in a failing school district.
EdChoice Expansion: This scholarship is available to all students in grades K-12 and is income based. Any family who earns less than the 450% federal poverty guideline, will qualify for a full award. Families earning more then the 450% federal poverty guideline still qualify for a scholarship but at a reduced rate, depending on where you fall on the federal income chart.
Requirements for an EdChoice Scholarship are:

Copy of student’s Birth certificate
Copy of a recent report card for students entering grades 1-8
*Proof of Address (Copy of a current utility bill with the payment stub attached that is in the primary parent’s name with the same address that is on the application.)
Custody documents (For any student whose parents are divorced or separated or living with a Legal Guardian).
The Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) gives the parents of children with autism who qualify for a scholarship the choice to send the child to a special education program other than the one operated by the school district of residence to receive their education and the services outlined in the child's individualized education program (IEP).
Any student who has been diagnosed by a physician as having Autism or a student who has been identified by their district as a child with autism and for whom the district has created an individualized education plan (IEP) qualifies for the Autism Scholarship program.
The student must have a current IEP from the district of residence that is finalized and all parties, including the parent, must be in agreement with the IEP.
A child is eligible to apply to participate in the program when the child turns three.
The following information is needed for the Autism Scholarship:

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student's Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and will not exceed $27,000. Students must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire program year to receive the full scholarship amount. Open enrollment is throughout the year.

The Bishops' Scholarship for Excellence is available to current 6th and 7th students. Sixteen $1,000 scholarships will be awarded annually. Applications must be returned to the principal by March 15th.
